Our Process
Schedule an Inspection
Simply reach out to us via phone or email! We’ll schedule an appointment as soon as possible to assess the extent of your damages and review your policy. You can also initiate the process by completing our Free Property Inspection form.
Assessment and Contract
Once it’s established that there’s substantial damage warranting action, we move forward by signing a contract. This agreement signifies your authorization for us to advocate on your behalf and engage with your insurance company – no convoluted terms, just a straightforward pact.
Gather Further Information
Next we evaluate the property even more thoroughly. This involves capturing photographs, taking measurements, and gathering essential data about the damages. We can do this either on the same day as your free inspection or later at your convenience.
Submit the Claim
We promptly inform your insurance company and submit the requisite forms along with our damage assessment. Generally, this prompts the dispatch of their in-house adjuster to create their own estimate. A meeting is scheduled at your property, and your presence is optional.
Claim Negotiation
Once the insurance company’s internal adjuster’s evaluation reaches them, they dictate the proposed payout for your claim. This initiates negotiations, a responsibility that we take care of for you. The duration varies, spanning from a few days to several months depending on the insurer. We maintain consistent communication to ensure a prompt resolution.
Agree on Settlement
Ultimately, an equitable settlement is reached. Within days, the insurance company typically issues a mailed check to cover your damages and associated costs. Rarely, insurancand the claim enters a phase known as appraisal or, in extreme cases, litigation (though it’s pertinent to note that over 95% of such legal matters rule in favor of property owners).
